We recommend that international participants fly to London's Heathrow Airport, which is just over an hour from Oxford. From Heathrow there is a very efficient direct coach service to Oxford, which runs at half hourly intervals for most of the day. Details of times and fares can be found on the Oxford Bus Company website. Buses are marked "X70" or "LHR Oxford" and depart from the Central Bus Station (for Terminals 1 to 3) with a subsequent stop at Terminal 5. Participants arriving at Terminal 4 will need to transfer to the other terminals, which can take half an hour. Cars
Oxford is not a car-friendly city, and we strongly advise conference participants not to arrive by car. We are not able to provide parking for conference participants at the conference or accommodation site. Long-term parking in central Oxford is not available. If you wish to extend your stay in the UK after the conference, then most major car hire companies have depots in Oxford and we recommend arranging collection at the end of the conference.
